Gristmill Glory!

Practice, practice, practice!! Yay! Last week, I was privledged to take pictures of a family that has become very dear to our hearts. They have beautiful children and it has been so much fun to be on this journey in DC together! We went to George Washington's Gristmill to attempt some photos next to the stone work seen throughout the exhibit. It was an extremely humid day with full sun! I had a few other ideas with the group that involved sitting in the grass, etc., but the grass was very wet from the night before. So, we are taking a "raincheck" on those poses and saving them for a end of the month camping/beach trip! Very exciting! As always, thank you for taking a peek! :)

A Bride to Be...

Over Memorial Day weekend, I went to San Diego to attend one of my closest friends bridal shower and bachelorette party! Unfortunately, my camera was a little too clunky to lug around the night club, so I am excited to see what popped up on my friends cameras for the evening! The weekend was soooo much fun and it was great to spend time with friends and meet some new ones! It truly was a rejuvinating girls weekend!! I am still smiling over the fun of it all!! Love you ladies!!!

Summertime!

A couple of days out with some friends and I had to include a couple of cute pictures!

Two Toddlers & A Baby!

This was a wonderful session! With my husband away, an attempt was made to capture a new mom's pride a joy...her baby! In the background was her daughter and my son...playing and making their surprise appearances at random times. It was a lot of fun and I thank Kelly so much for allowing me to invade her home and explore more creative ideas! Plus, it seriously helped that she has a beautiful and photogenic family! Lighting is still a bit of a hiccup for me, but I am learning!! As always, I would love to hear opinions and ideas for improvement! My biggest desire is to get better!! Thank you for stopping by!
