Lil' Broncos!

Fall time = Game time!  And, it always brings me joy to be around this family and their "Lil' Broncos!"  Jen and Trevor are two people with an insane amount of creativity!  This photo shoot was no different as they revealed their Bronco team loyalty and intertwined the day with their beautiful family!  It was a great time!!  Their girls are growing up so fast and it does not seem possible that they have been captured on my camera since they were babies!  Make is stop!!  :)  They are cuter than ever and full of fun!!

Here's a few of my favorites from our session:

Did I mention that Jen is a major Beatles fan?  So, I title this one:

All you need is love…and a couple of dogs!  :)

Aren't they all easy on the eyes??

100% girls…totally fearless!!

Seriously, like looking in a mirror??  It doesn't get more exact?

Broncos ALL day!!

Beautifully attached.

I am in LOVE with this one!!!

Trevor and Jen,

Thank you for asking me to take pictures for you all again!  I am so blessed to have you all in my life and truly love your family to the moon and back…infinity!  It brings me so much joy to watch your girls grow and be present for all of your new projects/endeavors!  May God bring you so much love, health, and happiness in 2015!

XOXO,

~Jodi

Wyoming Brothers!!

Deep down, I have always wanted to have the chance to photograph at War Memorial Stadium--University of Wyoming.  One pleasant October afternoon, the opportunity was fulfilled!!   Truth be told, there was a little "sneaking on operation" as the field was occupied by a high school marching band competition.  All for the shot!  I had the pleasure of photographing two brothers who love football, basketball, & I am guessing…all sports!!  Let's take it to the field folks…

Two of my personal faves...

The best part of this session was seeing how much these boys have grown since last year…so very handsome and the best smiles!  They made my job super easy!!

Let's not forget the beautiful scenic spots all over campus.  Brown and GOLD is REALLY in full effect this year!  We couldn't have asked for a better day!!

Mindy, it was a great day to spend time with you all.  Thanks for entrusting me with your boys photos for a another year!  I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday season ahead!  Big Hugs!

Surprise Session!!

Life is full of surprises!  Turns out that I was pleasantly surprised when my phone rang at lunch and the voice on the other end is my lovely friend, Lotta!  She had scheduled their annual photo shoot with their family photographer.  Their session was cancelled last minute and I was able to fill in!  I was thrilled!!  I did the hustle and drove on over to their new home.  I must say that I want to take ownership of their backyard.  It's a photographers dream.  Their property feels like we stepped foot into the mountains complete with a beautiful creek and even a deer peering in on our session.  How great is this?!!!

Lotta and Phil have such a gorgeous family!  Their kids are full of life, smiles, and laughter.  I always enjoy seeing them.  Here's a preview from the afternoon:

The deer that wanted to be in on the action...

Majorly Gorgeous Family!!!

The one melts my heart...

We love silly shots!!

It doesn't get any better than this!!

All Because Two Wonderful People Fell In Love... :)

Welcome Home!!

Thank you so much for the special memory! Congratulations on your new home and I wish you all many more amazing moments with your kiddos. :)

And Baby Makes 4!!

Don’t you just love it when summer officially arrives?!!  What’s better than warm sun and flip-flops?  I know!!  Traveling to beautiful Wyoming in the summer to enjoy that warm sun while wearing flip-flops…no more sweaters and snow boots!!  It truly makes my heart happy!!  Do you know what else?  Getting to take pictures of another gorgeous family in my favorite state!!  Congratulations to the Bergmann Family on their new blessing, Sydney.  She is a doll and her big brother Brody is another amazing blessing to their family.  We were able to chat about Legos and dragons…I love the simplicity of happiness that eludes from a 4 year-old mind.  Youth is a treasure.

It was great to reconnect for a short bit with Kathrine and meet her husband, Bill.  They are truly a sweet couple and you can see that they make this “parenting stuff” look easy.  Here is a sneak peek from our morning together:

You have a couple of priceless little people here:

 One of my faves...

 Already a great big brother!!
We took an adventure down to the train tracks and worked quickly!!  Thanks for being great sports...I got to add a little artsy flare for fun.  :)

All because these two fell in love... :)

Photo shoot complete!!

Kathrine and Bill, I wish you many more memories and a lifetime of happiness with your little blessings.  Thank you for letting me spend the morning with you and capture a glimpse of your life together. Big hugs!  ~Jodi

Worth the wait...

What can I say, it has been a while since I have hopped on the "blog" bandwagon.  Life is funny that way...sometimes we are on top of the details and sometimes, life swoops us away for a mini-break.  I would like to say that I am so honored and grateful that my return blog post is about this next family.  Late last year, I learned that Ashley was expecting their second child.  It was a complete surprise and wonderful news!!  You see, the back story to this pregnancy is that she and her husband, Jason have been through some difficult procedures/times over the past few years.  They eventually threw in the towel and began dabbling in the adoption field.  To their surprise, Ashley became pregnant and gave birth to a healthy, Brody, defying many odds.  What makes this story incredibly sweet is the fact that out of 365 days out of the year, he arrived on Ashley's mom's birthday, who we know is looking at her from heaven above with adoring & proud mommy eyes.  :)  This family is so blessed and I love them so much.

When she called me to take family pictures, I was thrilled.  AND, so was my son who got to tag along for a play date with their oldest, Cooper.  I must say, Cooper & Brody were incredibly easy to work with! It was a super treat for this photographer!  Now, let's take a sneak peek...

 One of my favorites....

Okay, maybe this one is my favorite...

 Or this one...

 Definitely this one!!

Cooper is already on his way to being an awesome big brother!!

Ashley and Jason, I wish you all many, many years of happiness and love with your family of 4!!  Thank you so much for hiring me to capture your new little blessing!  We love you all so much and look forward to more play dates and watching these little ones grow!  Happy Spring!
~Jodi S.
