All in the Family

It's his senior year...not possible I say!!  This senior is growing incredibly too fast.  I feel like it is important to do a throwback in the spirit of photographic memories.  I met Colton when he was 3 years old!  He was the best little ring bearer in our wedding and now, graduating???  Wow, where did that time go?

Fast forward to 2015, I had the pleasure to photograph cousin Colton and hang with family.  It seems like life can become so busy that this was a nice treat to celebrate this milestone and share some of my favorite spots at home.  :)  We started the session at Vedauwoo and Colton was a trooper.  He has big dreams of joining the Army after high school...Hooah!   He is a great student, wonderful athlete, loves the outdoors, hunting, swords, and has a deep love for this awesome country.  Let's take a look:

After Vedauwoo, we spent a little time in downtown Laramie embracing the artistic murals & urban backdrops.  Laramie was hoppin' this weekend as students were moving into dorms, an art festival was taking place at the Train Depot, a wedding nearby, and we stumbled on an old car show downtown!  It was so fun.  The highlight of the day was walking past a cherry red '57 Chevy.  This sparked conversation among the family that Colton's great grandfather drove this car.  We were taking pictures in front of the vehicle and the owner learned that it was Colton's senior picture day.  He allowed him to step inside for the REAL photo op!  This made all of our day!!  It will be a memory not forgotten and the sentiment behind family lineage will always be in his photos.  The ultimate treasure.

You have to do a black and white for this one...it's a must.  :)

Have a great year, Colton!  Rock 2016!  You have a bright future waiting & may God bless your new chapter!
